Organization: Tarbela 4th JV Consultants, A joint Venture of Mott MacDonald Limited, COB, MMP and ACE Pakistan
Position: Junior Engineer (Electrical) (MM Pakistan Limited)
Tarbela 4th extention HPP, Power house and Switchyard(Site activities):
• Reviews of Electrical design/Quality documents.
• Daily site visit and inspection of ongoing earthing system installation.
• Electrical equipment installation inspection.
• Participate in daily Electro-Mechanical meeting.
• Inspection of Contractors 11kV construction power supply installation.
• Communicating with client and contractors.
• Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Preparing daily E&M site progress report, fortnightly E&M progress report, Weekly E&M progress report.
• Visual inspection of Electrical equipment’s in E&M contractor ware house.
TESTS:
Following test has been conducted for 600/50 ton Powerhouse overhead crane:
• Supervision of IR test for 4kW, 11kW, 55kW and 132kW motors.
• No load test has been conducted for Main and auxiliary hoist system.
• Frequency, current and voltage test for ABB frequency drives.
• Load test has been conducted for load of 50%, 75%, 100%, 125% and 140% on main hoist system.
• Load test has been conducted for load of 50%, 75%, 100%, 125% and 140% on auxiliary hoist system.
• Insulation Resistance Test and Winding Resistance test have been conducted for all motors rating i.e. (18.5kW, 3kW and 0.8KW) of 10tone Electrical hoist system of Powerhouse overhead cranes.
Upgradation of Tarbela exsisting switchyard(500/220/24kV substation):
• Bid elevation of upgradation of existing Switchyard project
• Reviews of Electrical design/Quality documents
Tool (AUTOCAD-2013)
• Drawn the SLD of 500/220kVA Auto Transformer Metering/Protection.
• Drawn Main SLD of 500kV Substation.
• Drawn the Bus Bar and breaker failure protection of 500kV Substation.
